The Year of the Tiger – the Team pursues its dream

[This is our way of saying thank you to so many friends abroad for cheering us on: from time to time, we will have some posts translated. Enjoy it! Thank you, Sue; thank you, girls, for the help and incentive.]

Dear Friends,

The year of 2010 is the “Year of the Tiger”, and everything which is good shall take place in this year.

The Team will grow (we will write about it soon). The Team will prepare itself (news soon).

AND THE TEAM WILL PURSUE ITS DREAM!

We didn’t get in this to play around. We got in the fight for animals’ welfare to see results, to offer substantial and long lasting improvements for all animals among the next generations of human beings. Therefore, we want to see a change of mentality; we want to see the concept of respect for animals to emerge and to consolidate within all social levels.

THE TEAM WANTS A BUS!

We want a bus adapted to massive sterilization procedures of cats and dogs. Such a bus shall visit less favored communities 7 days a week, every day of the month, registering, triaging and sterilizing those cats and dogs.

We will provide the following services to the community:

- lectures on education for responsible ownership;
- health evaluation of the animal;
- sterilization of cats and dogs

The goal is to achieve 100 procedures per day in each comunity.

THE IDEA IS ALREADY A SUCCESS IN OTHER COUNTRIES.

Google it and you will find it. There are even some NGOs in Brazil with similar projects. One of them, when we told them of our intention to copy their project, gave us the complete blue print to assembling the bus (!!!) and wished us lots of blessings! To those supportive people we shall be eternally grateful.

JOIN US IN MAKING THIS DREAM COME TRUE

Tigor has taught us that nothing is impossible for tigers, and for the parents of a tiger.

If you are or have been blessed by the presence of a pet in your life, ride with us in this bus, as we head towards a better society ~ which includes responsibility to all animals.

We need your help in this campaign.
